VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is  post number 93 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " Algebraic Calculations-III " Reference: We had already learn about " Algebraic Calculations-I "  in our previous blog. If you have missed my last blog then please visit   " VEDIC MATHS-91 ". We had already learn about " Algebraic Calculations-II "  in our previous blog. If you have missed my last blog then please visit   " VEDIC MATHS-92 ". Algebraic Calculations: Here in this post we will solve algebraic calculations by maths sutra. Examples : let’s solve our next example: (2x + 3y + 4)(x – 3y + 5) Step 1:  Now these kind of sums can be done easily using the vertically and crosswise method of multiplication. We had already learn ...

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is  post number 92 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " Algebraic Calculations-II " Reference: We had already learn about " Algebraic Calculations-I "  in our previous blog. If you have missed my last blog then please visit   " VEDIC MATHS-91 ". Algebraic Calculations: Here in this post we will solve algebraic calculations by maths sutra. Examples : 1. Solve (2x - 3)^2 - (3x - 2)(x + 5). Step 1:  We solve this using the vertically and crosswise method. First, we multiply vertically the terms that have x. So we have (2x - 3) (2x - 3) 2x × 2x = 4(x)^2 And (3x - 2) (x + 5) Here, multiplying vertically we get 3x × x = 3(x)^2. So mentally, we do it like this: 4(x)^2 - 3(x)^2 = (x)^2 . Thi...

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is  post number 91 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " Algebraic Calculations-I " Algebraic Calculations: Here in this post we will solve algebraic calculations by maths sutra. Examples : 1. Solve (x + 2)(x + 3) + (x – 6)(x + 5). Step 1:  We solve this using the vertically and crosswise method. First, we multiply (x + 2) and (x + 3). We can either implement the method left to right or from right to left. (x + 2) (x + 3) Going from left to right, we multiply vertically. So we have x times x, which gives us (x)^2. So this is the first part of step 1 Similarly, we do the same for  (x - 6)  (x + 5) that is, we multiply the x’s vertically. So we have (x)^2 here as well. Adding both...

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is  post number 90 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " Percentage " Percentage: In mathematics, a  percentage  is a number or ratio that can be expressed as a fraction of 100.  If we have to calculate  percent  of a number, divide the number by whole and multiply by 100. Hence, the  percentage  means, a part per hundred.  The word per cent means per 100. It represented by the symbol “%”. Converting Percentages into Fractions: 1. Convert 80% into a fraction. We first convert 80% into a fraction like this, 80% = 80/100 = 4/5. We have also reduced the fraction to 80 / 100 its simplest form, which is 4/5 . Answer : 80% = 4/5 . 2. Convert 40% into a fraction. We firs...
