VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is  blog number 25 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " how  to calculate cube-root of perfect cubes along with example part-1 " Calculating cube root of numbers by traditional method is cumbersome procedure, but the technique used by Vedic Mathematics is so fast that one can get the answer in two to three seconds! The technique for solving cube roots is simply so amazing that the student will be able to correctly predict the cube root of a number just by looking as it and without the need for any intermediate steps. At this point, I would like to make a note that the technique provided in this blog can be used to find cube root of perfect cubes only. It can't be used to find the cube root of imperfect cubes. Reference: We had already learn about " concept relating to Cube-root " our previous blog. If you

The technique for solving cube roots is simply so amazing that the student will be able to correctly predict the cube root of a number just by looking as it and without the need for any intermediate steps. In this blog, we will learn how to calculate cube-roots. Thus, if you are given the number 8 you will have to arrive at 2. However these are basic examples. We shall be cracking higher order number like 704969, 175616, etc. At this point, I would like to make a note that the technique provided in this blog can be used to find c

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is  blog number 23 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   "cube root of perfect number " While dealing with factorization, equation of third power and in many problem of geometry, one will often find to calculate the cube root of numbers.  Calculating cube root of numbers by traditional method is cumbersome procedure, but the technique used by Vedic Mathematics is so fast that one can get the answer in two to three seconds! The technique for solving cube roots is simply so amazing that the student will be able to correctly predict the cube root of a number just by looking as it and without the need for any intermediate steps. You might find it difficult to believe, but at the end of study, you will calculating cube root of complicated number like 262144, 12167 and 117649 in 2-3 seconds. Before we start start actual study, l

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is   blog number 22 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   "Squaring Numbers " Squaring Numbers: Squaring can be defined as 'multiplying a number by itself'. There are many different ways of squaring numbers. Many of these techniques have their roots in multiplication as squaring is simply a process of Multiplication. Examples:  (3)^2 is three multiplied by 3 which equals 9 (4)^2 is four multiplied by 4 which equals 16 The technique that we will study are: Squaring of numbers using Criss-Cross system. Squaring of numbers using formulae. (A) Squaring of numbers using Criss-Cross system: The  Urdhva-Tiryak  Sutra (the Criss-Cross system) is by far the most popular system of squaring numbers amongst practitioners of Vedic Mathematics. The reason for it's popularity is that it can be used for any type of numbers. Re

Here in this blog we will learn about   "The Criss-Cross system of multiplication for higher order number " Criss-Cross System of Multiplication :                In Vedic Mathematics , we have similar system as like traditional way of multiplication it helps us to get the answer much faster. This system is also universal system and can be used for any combination of numbers of any length.                      This system of Multiplication is given by the " Urdhva-Tiryak Sutra. " It means 'vertically and cross-wise'. The application of this system are manifold, but in this blog we shall confine our study only to it's utility in multiplying numbers. We shall call it the  criss-cross system of multiplication . Reference: We had already learn about " Criss-Cross System of Multiplicatio
