VEDIC MATHS-1

VEDIC MATHS

                           By OMKAR TENDOLKAR

Hello friends,

This is our first blog in the series of 'Vedic Maths' blogs. Here, we will learn about the basic principles required in Vedic Maths. This blog will cover all the fundamental concepts necessary for understanding our next few blogs.

Base:

It is the first number in the series.

For a two-digit number: 10.

Starting with 10, 100, 1000, 10000, etc.

Complement:.

Adding two numbers results in the next nearest base.

48 + 52 = 100.

Then,

We can say that

48 is the complement of 52 or

52 is the complement of 48.

How to find:

Subtract each digit from 9 and the last digit from 10.

If...

The last digit is 0, then take the second-to-last digit as the last one.

For example:

60 is the complement of 40.

All these examples, ranging from 2 digits to 6 digits, will clear any doubts you may have had after reading the initial few sentences.

Actual examples clarify more than theory alone, which is why I've provided 10 examples.

You might be thinking that it's boring or too simple. Yes, it is simple, but as more concepts are added, it can become confusing. That's why I've included more examples.

Feel free to try the following example:

  1. 147
  2. 2366
  3. 6780
  4. 95860
  5. 987000

You may answer this in the comment box. You may ask any query or doubt in the comment box. I will try to resolve it as early as possible.

In the next blog, we will discuss  "special multiplications" i.e., "multiplication of numbers with series of 9's"

Are you excited for this?...
Then, please wait for it.
I will post my new blog next week.
We will meet very soon through our next blog. Until then, stay connected, stay healthy, and stay safe.

Thanks for giving your valuable time.

Good day ๐Ÿ˜Š.
