                      This is  post number 113 from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about "Applications of the Sutras & Sub-sutras - 13"

VEDIC MATHEMATIC :

"VEDIC MATHEMATICS" is the name given to the ancient system of mathematics, or, to be precise, a unique technique of calculations based on simple rules and principles, with which any mathematical problem be it arithmetic, algebra, geometry or trigonometry can be solved, hold your breath, orally!
What we call "Vedic Mathematics" is a mathematical elaboration of 'Sixteen Simple Mathematical formulae from the Vedas' as brought out by Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji.

Sub-Sutras: 

The system is based on 13 Vedic sutras or aphorisms, which are actually word formulae describing natural ways of solving a whole range of problems.
Some examples of sutras are "Anurupyena", "Antyayor Desakepi", and "Antyayoreva". These 13 one-line formulae originally written in Sanskrit, which can be easily memorized, enables one to solve long mathematical problems quickly.

9. Sisyate Sesasamjnah ( The remainder remains constant )

For multiplication of any numbers near to more than multiple of 10,
Step 1: Subtract the closest multiple of 10 from the number and multiply the results.
Step 2: Add the results with other numbers.
Step 3: Write the result of Step 2 in the beginning and result of Step 1 at the end.

For example: 104 x 101 = ?

104 - 100 = 4 and 101 - 100 = 1
4 x 1 = 04
101 + 4 or 104 + 1 = 105
105 and 04
So, the answer is 10504

10. Gunakasamuccayah

For the quadratic equation, the factor of the sum of the coefficients of ‘x’ in the product is equal to the sum of the coefficients of ‘x’ in the factors.

Here, we will learn about the basic principles required in Vedic Maths. Starting with 10, 100, 1000, 10000, etc. Complement: . Adding two numbers results in the next nearest base. 48 + 52 = 100. Then, We can say that 48 is the complement of 52 or 52 is the complement of 48. How to find: Subtract each digit from 9 and the last digit from 10. If...
