Here in this blog we will learn about   "Criss-Cross System of Multiplication " . Criss-Cross System of Multiplication :                In Vedic Mathematics , we have similar system as like traditional way of multiplication it helps us to get the answer much faster. This system is also universal system and can be used for any combination of numbers of any length.                      This system of Multiplication is given by the " Urdhva-Tiryak Sutra. " It means ' vertically and cross-wise'. The application of this system are manifold, but in this blog we shall confine our study only to it's utility in ...

Here in this blog we will learn about   " subtraction using the rule ''All from 9 and last from 10 " . Subtraction using the rule ''All from 9 and last from 10":                 Subtraction using rule ''' All from 9 and last from 10" is one of elementary techniques of vedic Mathematics. Basically it is used to subtract any number from a power of ten. The powers of the .include  number like 10, 100, 1000, 10000, etc.                So if you want to learn a method by which you can quickly Subtract a number from power of tens, then this technique can come to your aid.             ...

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R H ello friends,                       This is our 12th blog from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " squaring of numbers between 50 and 60 ". Square: Squaring is multiplying a number by itself. Reference : We had already learn about "Squaring of numbers ending with 5" our previous blog. If you have missed my last blog then please visit   " VEDIC MATHS-10 ". We had already learn about  "multiplications  of numbers whose last digits add to 10 and the remaining digits should be the same" in  our previous blog. If you have missed my last blog then please visit " VEDIC MATHS-11 " .   Squaring of numbers between 50 and 60: Here in this blog we will discuss related to squaring. VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                      This is our eleventh blog from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " multiplications of numbers whose last digits add to 10 and the remaining digits should be the same ".                          The technique of squaring number ending with 5 is a very popular technique. Some education board have included it in their curriculum. In Vedic mathematics, there is an extension to principle which is not know to many people. This formula of Vedic Mathematics tells us that the above rule is applicable not only to the squaring of numbers ending in 5 but also to the multiplication of numbers whose last digits add to 10 and remaining digits are the same. Reference: We had a...

VEDIC MATHS                             By OMKAR TENDOLKA R Hello friends,                       This is our tenth blog from the series of "Vedic maths" blogs. Here in this blog we will learn about   " squaring of numbers ending with '5' ".  Square: Squaring is multiplying a number by itself.  Let us have a look at how to square number ending with 5.  For example:   1) Find the square of 65             65          ×   65        ---------         4225 In 65, the number apart from 5 is 6. After 6 comes 7. So, we multiply 6 by 7 and write down the answer 42. Next we multiply the last digits, viz.(5×5) and write down 25 to the right of 42 and complete our multiplication. Our answer is 4225.  Answer:  65  ×  65 = 4225. ...
